User interaction

Action nodes are useful for creating animations within your scene, but they can also be used for providing simple interactivity.

Responding to user clicks

Modify SimpleScene.xml to that it reads:

<scene>
	<object id="myplane" type="primitives://plane.aro">
		<event type="onclickdown">
			<set object="myplane" what="visible" to="false"/>
		</event>
	</object>
</scene>

Viewing this scene and clicking on the plane with the mouse (or tapping on it on the phone) causes it to disappear. For a list of the event types that you can respond to see the object node XML reference page.
